Domain Nicolas Maillet

It lies on the slopes of the small village of Verzé (Southern Burgundy, France) in the heart of the Mâcon area, 60 km north of Lyon and 120 km south of Dijon.

It has been in the hands of my family for four generations. Back then, the wines were produced in the cellar of the Domain. In 1928 the production of the domain started to be delivered to the village’s cooperative winery, up until 1999 when the wine started once again to be produced in the family cellar.

A century-old domain

The domaine consists of 7 hectares of vineyards :

  • 5.77 hectares of Chardonnay
  • 0.64 hectares of Aligote
  • 0.40 hectares of Pinot Noir
  • 0.40 hectares of Gamay
